Corporate history

To Tsuruoka, the hometown of the company's founder

In 1960, Sashida Seisakusho, an affiliate of Suntec, was founded in Ome City, Tokyo. This was at a time when the industrial parks formed in the eastern part of Ome City contributed greatly to the development of the local economy as the major electrical and machinery industries. In 1985, when Sashida Seisakusho set out to expand its business, soaring land prices and a shortage of human resources made expansion in Ome City no longer feasible, and the company decided to relocate and decentralize its plant to the founder's hometown of Tsuruoka.
